Timmy Trumpet & Qulinez :: released February 17 2017
After chart topping collaborations with the likes of Carnage and MAKJ, Australian DJ and producer Timmy Trumpet now joins forces with Swedish duo Qulinez to deliver his latest smash 'Satellites'. An uplifting blend of synth pop and future bass, 'Satellites' engages from start to finish. Opening with warm synth chords and soft arpeggiatiors, the track is a change of pace for Timmy Trumpet with a powerful vocal that builds into a goosebump inducing drop.
Timmy explains how the track came together: " Working on Satellites with Qulinez was an amazing experience and I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's a big drop in BPM compared to my other music but I was a jazz musician 10 years ago and now I'm a DJ. Who knows what I'll be doing in 10 years from now and I like it that way. I'm having fun making music that I like based on whatever's inspiring me. I hope people dig it too!"
Qulinez also talk about the collaboration: " We've been discussing working together with Timmy for a while, went back and forth with a bunch of ideas and late night Skype sessions. We are extremely happy and excited to finally have something we really like in place."
Timmy Trumpet is one of the biggest dance music exports to hail from Down Under. His track 'Freaks' featuring Savage is now five times platinum in Australia and Ministry of Sound Australia's biggest ever selling single, reaching No. 3 on the ARIA Singles Chart and No. 1 in New Zealand, with over 100 million Spotify streams and hundreds of millions of plays online.
