They Say

The past 12 months have been a year of meteoric achievements for Australian electronic producer, Kilter (aka 22-year-old Sydneysider Ned East). His new musical endeavours earmark what will undoubtedly be a year of sweltering highs, led with Kilter’s new single, ‘They Say’ off his forthcoming six-track EP, ‘Shades’, to be released in mid-2014.

Since hitting the road, Kilter has performed to almost 20,000 Australians within three months, supporting national tours for The Kite String Tangle, RÜFÜS, Art Vs. Science, Snakadaktal and Basenji, leading into his announcement for Splendor In The Grass this year. In addition to clocking over 2 million Soundcloud plays and two Hype machine #1s for remixes of London Grammar and Ben Pearce (spun by BBC Radio 1’s B.Traits), Kilter’s latest remix for the Duke Dumont & Jax Jones UK #1 single, ‘I Got U’ is already getting huge support online.

With almost 100,000 plays on Soundcloud so far, ‘They Say’ showcases Kilter’s distinctive sound and kicks off what will be a huge year for him.
