I Wanna Feel

Following in the footsteps of fellow UK producer Duke Dumont, SecondCity releases a '90s flavoured house track that is taking the UK charts by storm. ‘I Wanna Feel’ was premiered as Zane Lowe’s 'Hottest Record in the World' two months ahead of the singles release on his BBC Radio 1 show. Support from a varied list of tastemakers followed as MistaJam, Annie Mac, Alice Levine & Phil Taggart, all jumped on the single. Whether it’s the familiarity of the ‘90s RnB sample or the heat on SecondCity, it’s hard to deny the hit appeal of ‘I Wanna Feel’, which has shot straight to #1 on the UK iTunes chart this week.

Born in Chicago and raised in the UK, Secondcity has quickly established himself as one of the most talked about newcomers in electronic music. With a collaboration with Route94, a release on ghetto-house label Dirtybird, SecondCity soon found Disclosure, MK, Huxley and Skream all championing his ‘90s house sound. An accolade that deserves consideration, given the influence and output of these electronic artists.
