About

Mashed is back for another instalment of off-beat, unpredictable and at times down-right bizarre indie-electro-pop-marvels. Antipodean dance-meister extraordinaire Beni brings a slice of his trademark acid-everything sound to Disc 1, with tracks from Tiga, Jesse Rose, Classixx, Van She, Sebastien Tellier, KIM, The Golden Filter, and Zombie Nation. Miami Horror steps aboard to mix the fantastique Disc 2 with tracks from In Flagranti, David Bowie, La Roux, Bag Raiders, Yuksek and Amanda Blank, Little Boots, Lost Valentinos, NASA, and Phoenix.

    couldnt listen to the whole thing but its sounding awesome..
    songs are fresher and tad more underground and less commerical compared to what MOS has been brining out lately..
    kinda reminds me of the stuff onelove make (which is a good thing)
    only thing that killed it was riverside on disc 1
    would rather slash my face open then listen to that song again..too much? lol

    New marketing plan..
    - Take a series of tunes that have been fairly big over the last couple of months, tracks that people can recognise (but not ones that have been caned in the clubs), say 60% of the tracklist.
    - Mash this TOTALLY, I mean, SMASH this over the top of some more underground tracks.
    - Make the Compalation true to its name. There is no point mashing a stack of tunes that are up and coming, AS THE GENERAL PUBLIC CANT TELL IF THIS IS MASHED OR NOT!
    - Create a Compalation that has fresh sounding, 'revised' tunes, encompasses the nature of underground and is true to the name.. MASHED..

    The mash-up albums that the cut-up boys have mixed in the UK are awful and VERY commercial!!! At least the mashup albums that are released through mos au are a lot more underground and unusual!!!

    Im hoping this lives up to Mashed #4 - The mis of Utah Saints /Something Good '08 was rendered very well and the whole album oozed funk and groove. Cant wait to get the album.

    i totally agree w oxime and his new marketing plan... disc 1 is very dissapointing and disc 2 is mehh :!. def not a cd im getting and riverside is the WORST song ever produced and is sooo OLD, its nearly as nold as my nan. pl make the next few cd's better than this crapola M.O.S, very dissapointed listener :( !

    thank god MOS have come to their senses and made something more pleasing to the ear than the previous effort. Mashed 4 was RRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUBISSSSHHH!!! Still, you can't beat Mashed 1 ;)

    mashed 3 was joy. one of my first MOS. FCK OFF RIVERSIDE theyre even playin it more than once in one night when we go clubbing, the Djs should be shot. but im buyin this btch of a cd

    Crookers are so mainstream now thanks a lot kid cudi maybe if ur original of day n nite wasnt so crap crookers wouldnt have been destroyed ive been listening to them for ages i admit day n nite was an awesome remix but it was so overplayed and was on tonnes of compliations even so fresh had it on one of theirs thats just low to be on so fresh

    This album's quite good I bought it today and am enjoying both cd's so who cares if some of the music is old its all recycled and then brang bac to life again, though i do agree wif riverside they couldve replaced it wif a more recent song so ova it...
