American DJ/Producer David Banks a.k.a DJ Disciple is one of the true stalwarts of the American dance scene. Owner of US house label Catch 22, with productions dating back to 1993 and an imposing discography, it’s easy to see why.
DJ Disciple has a number of remixes to his credit, most notably though, it was his remix of Australian producer Steven Allkins a.k.a Love Tattoo’s seminal hit ‘The Bass Has Got Me Movin’ that earnt him a Grammy Nomination.
In addition to this, David’s music has also featured on television and film.
Some of his original works include, ‘It’s Easy’ (featured on 2001 Ministry of Sound Annual) and more recently ‘Rise Up’ (the Jesse Garcia mix features on the Clubbers Guide to 2008).
