Justin Martin - Hello Clouds (Remixes)

As one of our most beloved Dirtybird Players, Justin Martin travels the world week in and week out putting smiles on people's faces, always with an even bigger grin of his own. With his sophomore album, 2016's "Hello Clouds", Justin proved that it's more than just fun and games – he's a seriously talented producer. Hello Clouds debuted at #1 on the iTunes Dance chart and Beatport's album chart, and hit #15 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums Chart the week after its release; these stats are a testament to the brilliance of the album and the way its diverse sounds resonated with fans both old and new. While it can be argued that the original album was largely for listeners, there's no doubt that the Hello Clouds Remixes are squarely aimed at DJs and dance floors the world over. Justin hand-picked the twelve artists who he thought would best reinterpret his work and, as with the original album, he's knocked it out of the park here.

Fancy Fux feat. Katie Got Bandz

If you're familiar with Dirtybird, then chances are you know that we hold the fast-paced, rhythmic, and usually very explicit style of music called 'Juke' or 'Ghetto House' close to our heart. There's something about the lo-fi 808 & 909 bangers with nasty vocals and crackling snares that does it for us, and you'll still hear originals from the era worked into many of the Dirtybird's dj sets. A lost art, you don't hear many original new Juke vocals that are as timeless as the classics from the past. Until now. Submitted as a random demo, Claude VonStroke was looking for some secret weapons for our two-day Detroit BBQ festival this Summer, and came across one named 'Stripper' from an artist duo named Fancy Fux, featuring Katy Got Bandz on vocals. He tested it out at at our pop-up afterparty, and people lost it. Less than 15 seconds of that moment was captured on video, and in days thousands of people were clamoring to find out what it was and how they can get their hands on it. The reaction sealed the deal…. we had to release this record. There's also a certain Dirtybird Player that we can admit is the most obsessed with this style, and we knew we couldn't put it out without giving him a go at it. Sure enough, Kill Frenzy stepped up and knocked it out of the park with a remix to complement this future classic, and bonus mixes that you can only get on the Birdfeed.

Dimatik - Psyfrica

Paces - Savge feat. Nyne

Following a stellar year that included releasing his debut album Vacation, huge radio support for his single with Jess Kent, '1993 (No Chill)', smashing triple j's Like A Version with Guy Sebastian, plus multiple tours around the country, Gold Coast producer Paces capped off 2016 by picking up the inthemix Award for Breakthrough Artist Of The Year. Paces launches into 2017 with a brand new single, 'Savage' featuring Melbourne singer/songwriter/producer NYNE. Paces, aka Mikey Perry, explains how the track came together: “This is the first piece of new music I've released since my album. The tunes I've been writing lately have been a bit heavier and a bit more danceable than my previous stuff. I'm still trying to keep it super fun and I still love pretty chords and melody, but it's evolved a bit since the Vacation album. I've been playing more festivals and I think that's been reflected in the music. 'Savage' features a singer from Melbourne named NYNE. When I first heard NYNE on a track I had to stop the car and make sure I got her name so that I could reach out. She just has such a unique sound! It was the same feeling I had when I first heard Jess Kent, KUČKA, and Tkay Maidza . She's going to be huge and I hope that this track helps people to discover what a great talent she is."

Games EP

Manchester-born and now London-based TCTS aka Sam O'Neill releases the 4-track Games EP through the burgeoning label helmed by Chase & Status , MTA Records, and now picked up by etcetc in Australia. After laying the groundwork with the These Heights EP through Joe Goddard's Greco-Roman label, the EP has picked up support from BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, with continued support from Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, B Traits, Rob Da Bank, MistaJam and Toddla T. Tastemaker music blogs have also rallied around O'Neill's EP with Pitchfork, Fader, The Sound You Need, Mixmag, Dummy and Stereogum throwing kudos at the young producer.TCTS has a habit of picking feature vocalists who are on the brink of success and Games is no exception, with sassy new talent K Stewart kicking things off on the title track, belting it out from the get go. Assertive, strutting vocals herald effervescent percussion and lush synth work for an irresistible start to the EP.You features a notable performance from Sam Sure – who has begun releasing his own material on Black Butter Records – and recently premiered by big supporter Annie Mac and leading US blog Stereogum as the first taster of this release and a #10 Hype Machine chart. A little more subdued than the opening track it's a bittersweet emotive take on an electronic love song, Sure repeating All I want is you over TCTS' signature subtle, layered production. Trust takes it back to the club, a chunky beat and classic hi-hat propelled by metallic synth stabs, while rolling closer 'Forward' is house music at its very best.

Paces - Savge feat. Nyne
