Wings

Known as one of dance music's most creative artists, Armand van Helden now brings the instant classic 'Wings'. The mighty Armand van Helden works his magic on the world famous vocals of this pop classic, resulting in the undeniable earwurm 'Wings'. Fantastic rhythms, synth pads and melodics are taking it sky high, making sure the audience will float away on sweet waves of bliss.

Silo

It's been almost two years since we released Kill Frenzy's debut album 'Taylr Swft' to the world, and since then he's made an appearance on our "Large Room Vol. 1" sampler with "H.O.U.S.E", and was featured on Justin Martin's album with "Wet Cat", along with Ardalan, earlier this year. He's traveled the world with us as a Dirtybird Player and is a big part of the Dirtybird family, and we're bringing him back to the label with the monster single, "Silo". "The name I gave the track has a special meaning to me. 'Silo' is the name of my favorite club in Leuven, Belgium that had so many great artists coming through there, and where I discovered a lot of great music. Sadly it closed a few years ago, but I remember seeing Claude VonStroke there once, which is probably in my memory still one of my favorite sets from him. I gave him a CD that night with some demos but never heard from him. Luckily a few years later, I finally did ;) " We're glad he did too.

Lose My Mind

A-Trak has teamed back up with Tommy Trash for "Lose My Mind", a feel-good, satin jacket jam for our crazy times. These DJ heroes have slowed down the tempo and turned up the bump, ticking all boxes for "joy" in the process: distorted bass riffs, vintage vocals, and a Travolta-worthy disco strut. No straight jacket required!

Sniper

Paul Dluxx is in the form of his life right now. With a Beatport #1 Breaks under his belt and endless international support from DJ Snake, Tommy Trash, David Guetta, Steve Aoki and Lucas & Steve, there's no doubt in our mind this guy is going from strength to strength. Joining him on this week's firepower is Queensland's LowParse. Hotly tipped from Skrillex's music portal Nest HQ as one of the most underrated producers out there right now, LowParse is making huge waves in the electro house scene, most notably his recent remix for Alex Preston & Kyro skyrocketing to #3 on ARIA's Club Charts. Enlisting the vocal talents from Clinton Sly, Sniper melts the 2 producers best strengths into a gargantuan main room rinser. Booming drumlines and military snares break in to a bold brass breakdown (alliteration on fleek) that before a savage drop unravels full of blocky plucks and chirpy animal noises. It sounds weird on paper, but by god this track is fearsome! Remix heave comes courtesy of Duke & Jones with a thick af trap rework, PNCVZ with a 150bpm bass beast & Duckworthsound with some in-yo-face night rave.

Beautiful Life (Remixes Part 1)

It's a 'Beautiful Life' indeed when Erick Morillo and ANGEMI get to work their magic. As both turn Lost Frequencies' grand single into a musical spectacle, you once again get to indulge in the finest music in this world. What else could you possibly wish for?

The Get Go EP

Early support from Kyle Watson! Psalms has been puttin in some serious work in 2016, boasting solid club releases on BADLQQK, East Project & House Of Hustle as well as a slew of international support from tastemakers Shiba San, Vanilla Ace, Amine Edge & DANCE, Sinden & DCUP to name a few. His recent offering to the gods, The Get Go EP is a thick slice of chuggy house that melts in your mouth and adds a few kilos to the waistline and it's totally worth it. Writhing basslines interject with crunchy drums and jagged vocal stabs come together to create a profound deep house gem. Now to talk remixes. South African legend LA Cruz lends his wizardry to the EP with a booming tech house creation that had us floored at first listen. Lyndon Kidd hits his stride on a moody house number and DIRTYBIRD guru Rod Fussy lets loose on some class A dancefloor heave.

On The Beach

Right on time, Nora En Pure strikes back with this fresh house remake of an all time classic. Originally written and performed by Chris Rea in 1986. Daniela Niederer aka Nora En Pure picks that signature guitar riff and creates her very own interpretation of 2016, full with hot and crispy percussions, pounding bass lines and dreamy breakdowns, this track is a must have for sure. Join us on a hot summer night train and get enchanted by those lovely sounds and rhythms that will extend your summer party eternally.

Stranger Things Theme

The synth-heavy theme song from Netflix's hit science fiction horror series Stranger Things has been given a funky makeover by Australian producer Luke Million, who has somehow managed to give the song some extra synth. Luke Million's take on the theme sees him bring a new vibrancy to the original, as well as some funky bass lines and a very danceable beat.

NAVI

It's not everyday you come across a unique artist like VISION. His latest masterpiece, Navi, is an enlightening piece of music that hits us right in the feels. Warm synth chords begin to paint the picture before emotive strings and gentle piano melodies breathe through into a stunning future bass drop.

Save Me

A new artist has emerged with Armada named Galactic Marvl, and the project appears to be dance music's newest mystery. Given his rapid introduction to the electronic audience and lightening speed support from the likes of Kaskade, it is hard to believe Galactic Marvl is not the side project of an already established artist. For now, that artist's name remains a mystery. Regardless, "Save Me" is an enchanting production that takes a soothing spin on the heavily saturated future bass genre. With Connor Foley on the vocals, "Save Me" is the perfect soundtrack for a gloomy summer night. Though there is no information available regarding future releases from Galactic Marvl, word on the e-streets is that an EP is in the works from this new, yet familiar talent.

They Don't Know Us

In his few years as a recording artist, Kilter has cumulated a fortune of tastemaker support and grown his recordings and touring profile from every corner of the internet. It's an impressive result for the 24-year-old musician, producer, writer and drummer who really does it all. 'They Don't Know Us' is single one from Kilter's forthcoming debut album and is a bright slice of things to come. Kilter reflects, "I had a strong idea around how I wanted the album to sound and themes I wanted to explore. I ended up working with a lot of exciting writers and musicians to make it the best experience it possibly could be."

At Sea (Remixes)

Adelaide three-piece Flamingo continues their signature blend of heartfelt indie electronica vibes with their new single, At Sea. Built on an instrumental of ocean-pulsed synths and glistening guitar riffs, the lyrics reflect on the ominous past and terrifying future of those people who find themselves 'At Sea'. The topic of refugees who arrive by boat to Australia is politically charged and heavily skewed in mainstream media. 'At Sea' provides an empathetic viewpoint to the issue, one which is they feel is lacking from the national conversation. The chorus “Families at seas, what a lovely place to be," purposely exaggerates the sentiment of far too many Australians who believe that putting your family on an overcrowded boat to cross the dangerous seas is taking the easy option. Kacee Heidt, vocalist for Flamingo explains, Leaving your home and everything you have ever known to travel to the other side of the world in search of a life free from tyranny and devastation with nothing but your family and the clothes on your back. This is one of the hardest things a person can possibly go through and something most Australians couldn't possibly imagine.

Beautiful

Phra is back! Crookers returns to the Australian club circuit with a stunning new single in Beautiful. Heavily revolving around a bossa-jazz hook, this track fills floors with Crookers' signature woozy esoteric beats and hypnotic grooves. For those who like it down and dirty, it's all about Kry Wolf's murky, party-starting tech house makeover. Sending adrenalin levels into overdrive with its tough beat, funky bassline and trippy elements, this remix is undeniably a DJ's secret weapon.

Acid Rain

Melbourne bounce masters Will Sparks & Joel Fletcher deliver another blazing electro banger in Acid Rain. Intenseness from the get-go as striking drumwork makes way for a monster synth build before unleashing one of the most ravenous drops we've heard this year. Expect nothing less than wall-to-wall mayhem when this record is dropped.

SHY (Remixes)

Another magic dance floor potion from the almighty Belgian DJ/Producer, The Magician. The funky melodies from SHY will take possession over every single person in the club, making sure no one will be standing still. The track is uplifting and contagious with its catchy vocals and lyrics from Brayton Bowman. On board remix treatment, Spinnin's very own Michael Calfan takes us on a melodic journey full of sophisticate house vibes. CID brings the heat with some dark electro flavours & The Aston Shuffle get moody with a subtle slice of future house. Rounding out the park, Roisto get the party started with a hybrid disco-funk infusion!Dance floor hit alert!

Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)

A sensual beat, uplifting summer sounds and luring vocals by Cheat Codes. Surely, this track is the perfect recipe to heat up any dance floor. LA trio Cheat Codes & the Dutch Dante Klein renewed Kevin Lyttle's classic Turn Me On resulting in their new tune Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On). IBIZA SUMMER HIT!

For Club Play Only Part 4

A major figure in modern dance music with a triple platinum track in Australia in his back catalogue, a straight run of five US #1 records and two UK #1s, it's an understatement to say that Duke Dumont has nailed the commercial dance market. However, those of you who have followed Duke's For Club Play Only series will know that his mainstream hits do not represent the limit of his production capabilities and we're excited to announce that he has chosen Defected for the release of Volume 4. For Club Play Only Part 4 features two tracks that perfectly demonstrate Duke's multidimensional styles. 'Be Here', premiered as Annie Mac's Hottest Record In The World, echoes the sunshine-soaked euphoria of his previous radio singles, with a seamlessly worked vocal loop and punchy brass motif. 'Worship' is Duke as you may not have heard him before; deeper and more bass-heavy, with more club appeal, while maintaining the melodic catchiness that Duke has made his signature style. For Club Play Only Part 4 puts Duke one step ahead of the rest yet again. Duke Dumont:"'For Club Play Only' is my catalogue of music purely aimed at the club… No radio ambitions, no platinum disc motivations, the aim purely to make music to DJ. The goal is to leave a legacy of dance music that'll stand the test of time, in the same light that many of the artists I hold in high regard have done in the past."

Don't Worry Bout It

The biggest single in New Zealand, 'Don't Worry Bout It' from KINGS, is set to take on the world, having been picked up by Warner Music in New Zealand and Ministry of Sound's Astrx label in Australia. The infectious 'Don't Worry Bout It' has reached the coveted #1 position on both the New Zealand Shazam and iTunes charts. “Being signed for me is literally a dream come true", says KINGS. “Production has always been my strong point so to venture off into the world of artistry and have the outcome be signed to a major label in such a short time is not only a confidence boost, but a very humbling experience." KINGS is well known among music circles in Auckland's North Shore, where his studio and record label Arch Angel Records is based. KINGS has been producing music for the past six years and has collaborated with a number of other producers including BulletProof, Dan Aux, General Lee, Jolyon Petch (Club Luxury), eSquire Uk, Crazi Biza and Dick Johnson.

Desert (Remixes)

Gold Coast producer Paces is on an undeniable upward swing. After selling out his series of Ship to Shore album launch parties around the country, his debut LP 'Vacation' entered the iTunes Top 20 album chart and claimed the #2 spot on the Electronic chart. Paces' single with Jess Kent '1993 (No Chill)' also received national radio support and has racked up 700,000 plays on Spotify alone! 'Desert' is lifted from Paces' 13-track debut album 'Vacation', which features a range of international and Australian talent. From Baltimore to Brazil to a little closer to home, Paces has enlisted artists like Bonde do Rolê, Kučka, Oliver Tank and Guy Sebastian. As well as supporting Dillon Francis on his Australian tour, Paces has just wrapped his 'Vacation' album tour with sell out shows around the country.

Came Up

Blazing hot trap duo Flosstradamus releases "Came Up" -- a shock-value collaboration with FKi 1st and Graves that features Post Malone and Key!. The project is a step forward as the duo cross their trademark bass with vocals from one of hip-hop's hottest acts. Flosstradamus performed "Came Up" at Lollapalooza with Post Malone himself, closing out night one with a surprise guest that became a festival highlight. The duo will headline HARD Summer on Friday, expected to deliver on another shock-value festival appearance. The track's production is delivered in tandem with Hawaiian producer Graves and FKi1st, member of the production two-some FKi who's worked on records for the likes of 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Lil' Yachty, and Post Malone, including the chart-topping "White Iverson." Post Malone brings his in-demand rhymes to play with a hook that pairs carefully with the heavy-hitting composition, as well as splitting duties on verses; Malone flows through the first and passes the baton to upcoming rapper Key! for the second. "I'm just happy to have been a part of this record. Key! has been my guy from day 1 and with Flosstradamus it's just a perfect fit" - Post Malone

Move The Ground

Hotly tipped as one to watch in 2016, up-n-comer Raffa teams up with dance guru A-Tonez on a sophisticated slice of future house goodness. Jangly piano breadowns paired with swingin hats and metallic synths buildup into a bellowing house anthem full of groove and oozing with dancefloor potential. This is one crafty anthem! Remixes come courtesy of BiTMORE with some jackin house, Nanna Does with the deep vibes and WTP on that wobbly breakbeat tip.

Stay Up To Till The Mornin

The mighty Armand van Helden works his magic on the world famous vocals of this pop classic, resulting in the undeniable earwurm 'Wings'.

Lose My Mind

A-Trak has teamed back up with Tommy Trash for "Lose My Mind", a feel-good, satin jacket jam for our crazy times. These DJ heroes have slowed down the tempo and turned up the bump, ticking all boxes for "joy" in the process: distorted bass riffs, vintage vocals, and a Travolta-worthy disco strut. No straight jacket required!

SHY (Remixes)

Another magic dance floor potion from the almighty Belgian DJ/Producer, The Magician. The funky melodies from SHY will take possession over every single person in the club, making sure no one will be standing still.

Comfort You (Remixes)

Known for their well curated remix packages, Sydney duo Set Mo (Nick Drabble & Stu Turner) haven't missed a trick with their remix package for 'Comfort You' featuring Melbourne solo artist Fractures. Causing a huge stir of late, Boston producer Tony Saputo going by the name J Paul Getto throws down a classic feel good funky house vibe on 'Comfort You'. With a repertoire of guaranteed floor fillers, J Paul Getto is true to form with his remix which we can definitely hear featuring in any DJ set from Set Mo. Another name to cross off the wishlist is San Francisco three piece live band PillowTalk. Known for their soul and boogie laced house rhythms, Pillowtalk's heritage lies within the Wolf + Lamb record label and their amazing live performances at Soul Clap parties around the globe. The band say this is Michael Tello's best remix to date. Moving completely into the sun is a recent signing to Kraak & Smaak's Boogie Angst imprint, Moods. That future funk flavor, wonky synth work, works so damn well with Fractures R&B-style vocals it's really hard to go one better for that sunset sippin' afternoon vibe starter.
