Sydney freshmaker and Melbourne’s favourite vodka-skoller have joined forces in the studio and constructed a savage speaker-freaker in Champion Sound. Forceful kickdrums, distorted rave synths and a swinging electro drop that’s guaranteed to shoot your limbs skyward.
Imagine if you could produce a track like this… well, everyone started somewhere! And these guys are now running a HUGE competition offering you the chance to win a studio session / DJ lesson with them.

Promotion commences at 12:01am AEDT on 15/11/13 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 25/11/2013. Individuals can enter the promotion by emailing email@example.com, including a Beatport receipt proving purchase of the original version (remixes not included) of ‘Champion Sound’ by Tom Piper and Rob Pix. The email should state reasons why the entrants believe they should win. The purchase must be unique and valid. The email must be sent to the specified email address by November 25th 2013. The winner will be picked and announced on November 26th 2013. There will be 1 winner of the main competition, as well as 4 runner up winners. Winners will be determined at the discretion of Tom Piper & Rob Pix based on their consideration of the entries. The winner of the main competition will be awarded with a studio session or a DJ lesson for themselves and a friend with Tom Piper & Rob Pix. They will have the choice of a Sydney or a Melbourne studio. Minors are to be accompanied by their guardian (at the cost of the guardian). They will also win a pair of Pioneer HDJ-2000 headphones. The 4 runners up will be awarded with a pair of Pioneer HDJ-1500 headphones, and the chance to have 1 of their own tracks A&R’d by Tom Piper. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Flights & accommodation costs are not included in this prize. Any fraudulent or harmful entries shall be disqualified from the Competition. Ministry of Sound Australia Pty Ltd merely hosts this competition and is not liable for any claims, actions and other liabilities that may arise from the Competition.
