In one of this week's more unusual music news headlines, alternative band, Sigur Ros will perform for the big DL. In case you're unfamiliar with the band, their music is frequently featured on chill albums and sometimes even commercials, despite the fact that some of the time they sing in a made-up language (Hopelandic or Vonlenska, whichever you prefer). The Dalai Lama will be giving a speech in Reykjavic as part of his continuing mission to unify the world... with the help of dreamy ambient music, apparently. We always knew music would have something to do with it. Which poses the question, Mos Massive: What tunes always soothe your soul?
