Ministry Of Sound's Guide To ADE

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is one of the largest dance music conferences of it's kind, playing host to some of the world's leading artists. The 5 day event which is celebrating it's nineteenth year, brings together music lovers, artists and industry professionals from around the globe for a series of club performances, panel discussions and of course, parties. ADE 2014 is set to attract over 350,000 visitors and will feature over 300 events, 2000 DJ’s across 80 venues throughout Amsterdam.

Some of the artists featured on this year's lineup include big room headliners Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell and Martin Garrix, as well as house and techno legends Joris Voorn, Hot Since 82 and Ricardo Villalobos.

In the past 18 years, ADE has developed into a globally renowned platform for electronic dance music. Drawing in people from all over the world, it's the perfect place to spot the latest dance music trends or pick up on the next big thing. In addition to the extensive live line-up, ADE Playground offers music enthusiasts an exciting daytime programme throughout the city centre including art exhibitions, pop-up stores and film screenings. And don’t forget about the famous DJ Cook Off competition that Seth Troxler has claimed three years straight.

With a lot already going on, the business arm of the event (ADE Conference) is recognized as the most important of its kind, presenting a broad range of conferences and networking opportunities that focus on music and technology, VJs & visuals, sustainability, harder dance styles, new talent and the education of students.
