An 11k race, 10 monster obstacles, Australia's leading health brands, and Ministry of Sound DJ's...

Nope, we haven't made a mistake. Ministry of Sound DJ's are playing at a hardcore fitness event in a couple of weeks!

Why? Because Ministry of Sound Running Trax is Australia's most successful running music brand of course! So what better fit than to join forces with our nation's only urban running event to bring you a day of fun, fitness and really good music!

Urbanathlon is an urban obstacle race brought to you by Australia's leading fitness magazine Men's Health. A worldwide event with thousands of gals and guys taking part each year across the globe, this is the second year for Urbanathlon in Australia, which is currently limited to Melbournians & Sydneysiders.

The course is around 11km long, and along the way participants are faced with 10 brutal obstacles including running with sandbags, half-pipes, overs and unders, monkey bars and heaps of stairs. Sounds like fun right?

We hope so! Because this year Ministry of Sound are taking part. Click here to see what we've let ourselves in for!!

If you fancy getting out the lycra and joining us - head over here to buy a ticket.

The Sydney event is taking place on Sunday, June 16th. And our DJ's will be getting things heated up at the End Zone for the Urbanathlon festival from 8am-1pm.

Now for the most important part - what should we wear?!? We were contemplating heading straight there from the club (7.30am start - yikes!), but have decided it may be too distracting for everyone else when we are negotiating a hurdle in a skirt.. help us out!

Head to Instagram and send us some outfit ideas. They can be anything from photos you've found, screen grabs, characters...

Remember to tag @ministryaus and include the tag #gomosgo

Ministry of sound will pick their 10 favourite outfit ideas and announce winners on Thursday 13th June.
