After the club smash that was Man With The Red Face, dance floor Dons Mark Knight & Funkagenda continued the story with 'Good Times'. A twisted Underground anthem, the ‘Club mix’ was showcased at Miami WMC 2009 to great effect, it later went on to become a chart smashing hit reaching No.1 on several highly respected Dance charts and was hammered from Miami to Moscow this summer.
But the story didn't end there. Up steps international globetrotting DJ & Producer Seamus Haji to sprinkle some magic over the original Club Mix, with his unique interpretation on the Chic classic, ‘Good Times’ is a feel good sonic bomb, warming up the darkest of days just in time for the party season. There is a distinct possibility that the name Seamus Haji may already be familiar to you. He’s one of the most creative and technically gifted house DJ's of our time. With an Irish-Indian background (explains the name) and hailing from the UK, he is certainly not new to the club scene.
With Haji’s remake of ‘Good Times’ bringing it bang up to date for current trends, the media hype circulating around this song is definitely worthy of its anthem status. Check out the sexy video below, which serves as a very fitting accoutrement to a very catchy song that will get you dancing around in any environment. It's a featured song on our latest album, On The Download: March, which you can buy on iTunes here.
