At 21 years of age, Will Sparks has accomplished more in two years than most have in an entire career. Hailing from Melbourne, Will started off as a bedroom producer who struggled to get regular club residencies. That was until his genre-defining track Ah Yeah hit #3 on the Beatport overall charts at the end of 2012. It was all up hill from there with a string of successful releases like Catch, When The Lights Go Out and This Is What The Bounce Is, as well as a bunch of remixes for Robin Thicke, Laidback Luke, R3hab and Martin Garrix. Will Sparks has been the driving force behind the Melbourne Bounce revolution and has worked closely with other bounce artists like Uberjak’d, Joel Fletcher, J-Trick and Timmy Trumpet.
2014 has definitely been a crazy year for Will Sparks with non-stop global touring and the release of his debut album Another Land. Having spent a good part of the year on the Bounce Bus Tour rounding off a legendary trio alongside Joel Fletcher and Timmy Trumpet and packing out over 50 club shows throughout North America.
After receiving the inthemix award for ‘Breakthrough Artist Of The Year’ in 2013, Sparks was crowned the #1 DJ in Australia only 12 months later with Timmy Trumpet and Joel Fletcher and taking out the #2 and #3 spot respectively. Having just recently completed another massive Australian stereosonic tour, Sparksy's new album Another Land shows off great diversity in production, quickly following on from the huge summer hit with Wiley and Elen Levon, Ah Yeah So What. Sticking to his guns, Will Sparks added in the slick vocals from smoking bombshell Elen Levon and UK grime artist, Wiley, which is now a casual platinum record in Australia. Take a listen below.
Will Sparks will be bringing in the new year with a certified radio hit and a hot new record. Ah Yeah So What is available on iTunesnow.
