Darude Locks In A Massive Australian Tour

Dust off the speed dealers because Darude is coming to Aus!

Fresh off the back of the release of his massive fourth studio album ' Moments' and wrapping an 11- date tour of North America, legendary Finnish DJ/producer Darude is heading back to Australia this September for a run of shows around the country. Famed for the global platinum-selling smash 'Sandstorm', Darude is recognised by many as one of the most influential artists to emerge from the dance scene in the past decade. Darude will be bringing his unique mix of progressive and uplifting trance, fused with elements of tech, breaks and house to Australia and New Zealand, kicking off in Christchurch on Thursday, September 8th, before hitting Canberra, Newcastle, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Perth .

Returning to Australia will be a special journey not just for Darude himself, but also for his legion of fans, some of whom have followed him since he first burst onto the scene 15 years ago. Keeping within reach of the classic material that propelled him into the public psyche ('Feel The Beat', 'Out Of Control'), Darude also manages to stay cutting-edge, playing a sound that has just the right amount of mainstream appeal and underground credibility. With his latest album 'Moments', Darude delivers an album of both song-led and club-focused records, including the emotive and trancey sounds he's become synonymous with. Last week Darude also unveiled his remix of Tritonal's 'This Is Love', available now as a free download via SoundCloud.

Having established himself as a DJ for the people, continually wowing club and festival crowds around the world and releasing some of the biggest dance anthems ever produced, it's a testament to Darude's popularity that he remains one of the most in-demand artists and makes his upcoming Australian tour one not to be missed.

The man himself Darude even had a few words to say about the upcoming tour - "My 2015 tour in Australia was such a blast, I can't wait to touch down under again in September and party with you!" – Darude
