"Chinese Laundry was my first ever interstate gig and that gives me enormous pride, one of the best venues in the country, if not the world. I still get tingles thinking about the great times I had and always look forward to playing there" -Motez
With a consistently tight music policy, Chinese Laundry has a focus on forever new music, showcasing this with a stellar CL18 November line-up.
BASSIC takes over Fridays at Chinese Laundry, focusing on the freshest sounds and biggest bass names from Australia and around the world.
Opening the CL18 festivities on Friday 6th November is dubstep heavyweight Habstrakt, alongside Sydney's finest bass weapons Hydraulix, Oski and PhaseOne. Friday 13th November is a triple threat with Ganz, Alix Perez & Eprom present Shades. Friday 20th November is one for the Drum and Bass heads with Hamilton headlining the cave, and Australia's own Opiuo in the Laundry. Rounding up the final BASSIC of the month is Sydney's answer to Freddie Mercury, Touch Sensitive, and Future Classic duo, HWLS.
Saturdays are all about LNDRY, with the most upfront names who sit on the fringe of house, techno and deep house today.
Kicking off LNDRY's part in CL18 are UK house weapons Ben Pearce and Low Steppa on Saturday 7th November, followed by Australian legend Motez, and Berlin techno legend Ben Klock on Saturday 14th November. Saturday 21st November is a stacked line up with DIRTYBIRD's Justin Martin, and a throwback to the classic years of Chinese Laundry with Bang Gang DJs and Kid Kenobi. Closing CL18 on Saturday 28th November is the king of disco edits, Late Nite Tuff Guy.
