With the recent announcement of the FUT.UR.ISM 3.0 compilation, you may have caught a sneak glimpse of the full 2-disc tracklisting (which you can view here) featuring a bunch of big name artists from Hudson Mohawke and Alison Wonderland, to Knife Party, Caribou and Jamie XX. Featuring over 40 artists on the compilation, FUT.UR.ISM is bringing you some of the most influential tracks in the world. Sticking to it's mission of offering some of the best future hits, the compilation provides a brilliant soundscape that varies between house, trap and electronic. Amongst the big name acts, we've compiled '5 Tracks You May Have Missed' on the FUT.UR.ISM 3.0 compilation.
5. Spank Rock – Assassin (feat. Amanda Blank)
One of underground music's most beloved MCs is back at it again, same as it ever was, just as explosive as ever before. Combining ghetto-rap and techno, the highly influential rapper Spank Rock is back with the stomping track Assassin. Oh..and it was produced by Kid Kamillion and Boys Noize.
4. Jack Ward – Yoghurt
Hot off the house tastemaker label Dirtybird, Yoghurt is one of the most refreshing releases of the year offering up a future-esque synth, but maintaining it's bouncey goodness. Prepare for this to be stuck in your head all week.
3. Slumberjack – Horus
The Australian based Slumberjack boys can do no wrong. Venturing out of their normal soundscape, Sluberjack bring Horus, a track that would sound like the lovechild of Flume and TNGHT.
2. TCTS – Coupe De Ville ft. Aniff Akinola
One of our favourites artists at MoS HQ is English producer TCTS. With a knack for high end production and quality, TCTS brings house and breakbeat together to form the fun-filled jam Coupe De Ville.
1. Carmada – On Fire feat. Maribelle
Having recently signed to Skrillex's OSWLA label, Carmada are one of the hottest duo's to come out of Australia in the past 12 months. Their Realise EP offered some hot fire with their lead commercial single and fan favourite Maybe. The follow up track On Fire ft. Maribelle adds a whole dimension to their sound and finds the balance between trap, dance and pop.
