Laurent Wolf

Laurent Wolf is a French DJ/Producer who has been involved in the dance scene for over 20 years, first as a DJ, then as a producer.

Laurent’s DJ career started back in the late 80’s, but it wasn’t until 1995 that he started his illustrious production career. Mainly working on remixing other peoples music for the first part, his debut release was an ode to his local Djing fraternity called ‘Respect For The French DJ’s’ which he released in 1999.

In 2003 Laurent stamped his name firmly on the international dance register with the release of two big tribal sax tracks called ‘Saxo’ and ‘Calinda’ (which he wrote under his Ritmo Calinda moniker), the latter appearing on over 50 dance comilations wordwide.

In 2007 Laurent released his track ‘The Crow’ (which features on Ministry of Sound Mashed 4), which uses the bassline from one of France’s biggest electronic heavyweight Daft Punk’s ‘Burnin’
