Klaus Hill has two identities. That of London dance music stalwart and more recently that of an exciting Australian producer with a brand new sound. Klaus Hill’s technical prowess is always on show in his productions. His recent release on Ministry of Sound’s Hussle Black label, titled ‘The Undefeated EP’ was no exception.
‘Boombaclart’ (featured on the 2008 Ministry of Sound Annual), is a ragga drenched banger with a jackin’ groove, played by some of the international DJing fraternity’s elite, such as Trevor Loveys, Plump DJ’s, Aquasky and Hervé, locally it was championed by the likes of Ajax and Grant Smilie to name a few.
Recently, Klaus has been enlisted to remix the Aston Shuffle’s ‘For Everyone’, Rogue Traders ‘Better In The Dark’ (both of which appear on Ministry of Sound Clubbers Guide to 2008), Cicada’s ‘Same Old Scene’ and Bitrok’s ‘Crazy’, which is on Klaus’ own imprint Tiltefight Records (this remix also features on Clubbers Guide to 2008).
