Simian Mobile Disco

Simian Mobile Disco are an English production and remix team. Formed from the ashes of Simian (a four piece UK band famously known for their track ‘We Are Your Friends), they are comprised of members James Ford and James Anthony Shaw. Since their inception Simian Mobile Disco have had a number of underground hits such as ‘The Count’ (features on Ministry of Sound Mashed 2), and in 2007 released their debut artist album Attack Decay Sustain Release which featured singles such as ‘It’s My Beat’ (which features Ninja from the UK indie band The Go! Team on vocals) ‘Hot Dog’, ‘Tits & Acid’ and ‘Hustler’ (which features on Ministry of Sound Mashed 3 and the Armand Van Helden remix features on the Ministry of Sound Electro House Sessions 2).
Simian Mobile Disco have also remixed an impressive list of artists, with the likes of The Klaxons, Air, The Presets, The Go! Team and The Rapture all commissioning remixes of their tracks.
